Left Hanging
Bestselling author Brandilyn Collins teams up with her daughter to produce this suspenseful whodunit series. Written in first person narrative from the perspective of Shaley, a sixteen-year-old, this teen story keeps the readers interest. The killer's thoughts, written in third person and interspersed throughout the story, have a chilling effect.
A typical teen, Shaley's BFF, Brittany, has an intuitive ability to know the future. Unfortunately, this reader does not have that ability. The novel is well written. The characters are believable, but the story stops just in time for the next book to begin. I understand that this is a series, but I feel gipped when left with a cliff-hanger.
