Sep 11 2006 5:18PM tremendous resource for discipleship/mentoring/investing
I've been using this resource since the late summer of 1998, and I've witness God transform the hearts & minds of men (and women) as we've gone through this material. I've used it in one-on-one mentoring, small group discipleship, discipleship retreats, and workshops. Although it's meant for men, I've adapted it for women.

I have used this study personally in my quiet time, in a small discipleship group, and am about to introduce it in a men's bibe study group at my church. The men in our small discipleship group constantly talk about the impact the study has had, and is having on them as they grow to know God better.

The Man God Uses:
To the point... self-examination of YOUR christian walk (women of our church find it aimed at them also). Similar to "Experiencing God"(it covers the 7-realities). Our Men's group did "Experiencing God", now we are doing "The Man God Uses". (Some simiar info./some new). The focus is even deeper into your personal-walk, your personal sinning keeping you from being Used By God. Simple to understand style, don't get lost in heavy theology.

The #1 complaint is that the "Study week" is not on the bottom of each page. Hard to flip back to a particular week without finding the beginning page of each week. The women wish it had a different cover for "The Woman God Uses"!
