Great tool for leading men's recovery groups
I have used this workbook since 1998 to lead men's recovery groups. It is a terrific resource because it helps you to uncover and deal with the root causes of your addiction. The goal is not just stopping the behavior but healing to become more like Jesus.
The workbook is based on the Twelve Step Program of AA, which has proven effective in liberating addicts for decades. I have found that men's recovery groups incorporating this workbook are much more effective than mere accountability groups that don't use a study guide. It provides an entrιe into discussions of meaningful, deep subjects and fosters relationship building which is one of the keys to long-lasting healing.
There is a new workbook by Dr. Laaser available through www.freedomeveryday.org.

Life-changing
This book changed my life. God used it to show me that I wasn't just struggling
with sexual immorality, but sexual addiction. And step by step, this book
and my support group led me into a new life of holiness and wholeness.

Excellent, Comprehensive,
Would highly recommend especially for men. Incorporates good understanding of emotional aspects of sexual addiction.
Awesome biblical base and sensitive but thorough dealing with fantasy.
