It showed in detail not only the lies Satan has been feeding me for years but how to overcome them. She also told us how to recognize and prevent the cycles from happening over and over again. Shortly after reading the book, my brothers were here and started the all too familiar bantering that would spiral me into my old insecurities. I looked at them calmly but determinedly and told them "Stop it. You can no longer treat me that way." After 60 odd years of doing this behavior everytime we were together, their mouths dropped, they looked at each other, and seeing I was totally serious, stopped their behavior. After reassuring them we could joke around and tease in a non-degrading way, we had a wonderful two week visit. For the first time in my life, God and I were in control. Praise God!!!

This book so needs to be turned into a study with workbook and DVD sessions to accompany it. Then, every church in the world should hold the study.

I don't think that I disliked anything about the book, or CD as I listened, except that I need to do it over again to get what I missed the first time. The greatest blessing was the question "what am I the most afraid of".

Wow, am I insecure! I found this book at a time when God was already dealing with me and my insecurity, and, boy, did it hit the nail on the head. I recommend this book to all women, but especially to that one whose insecurity has cost her so much. I'm not completely over my insecurity, but I'm recognizing it more and more. And with God's help,I will continue to grow in grace and in the knowledge of my Savior, who is my Security, now and forever!
