An excellent product with a good reading rate and helpful background music.
I liked the fact that the translation is new and accurate. I did notice he replaced a few words as he read, but that was a small thing as he reads clearly and from the HCSB, and seems to get the tone of each book.

Good reading.....too much music.
The reader did an excellent job but his performance was overwhelmed by the music at times. I want to hear the Word of God....not the music.

This Bible is very readable and yet a literal style translation.
I taught a lesson on the mis translation of Matthew 6:22 I showed that all the translations that I had seen had the understanding wrong. This text is a Hebrewism, Good eye and evil (bad) eye and is a contrast in generousness and selfishness. When one understands this, it suddenly makes sense in the context of lay up your treasures in heaven.
I bought every one in my family one for Christmas except myself. I am waiting for it to be offered for my computer Bible program that I like, then, I will buy and preach out of the Holnam Christian Standard Bible.
